Someone close to was going through a hard time  & it got me wishing that times were a bit simpler, like when we were kids. I got the image of birthday cakes stuck in my head, and then I just had to paint. The problem was that, this random idea came in the middle of getting ready for “an introduction to finding balance” and didn’t fit the theme of the show. Then I found the quote in one of the books, and I HAD to paint it.
